David Haas began diving in 1970 and actively selling stock photography usages in 1989. His photos won awards at film festivals in Chicago, New York, Houston, and South Carolina. He also has lectured on diving destinations and underwater photography at dive events in Chicago, Detroit, and Toronto, Canada.
He was a co-owner of a retail dive store, taught scuba for 13 years and today sells Ikelite underwater photography equipment in addition to licensing image usages and leading dive tours. He particularly enjoys helping new Underwater Digital Photographers capture images they're pleased to share with family and friends.
An early convert to digital since 2001 the constantly changing technology keeps David busy learning about new cameras and techniques to capture and share views of the underwater world!
